About Skip
Skip's discipline and focus propelled him to become
Minor League Baseball's youngest general manager at the age of 26.
During a 20-year Minor League Baseball career Skip served as President
& General Manager for five different Minor League franchises, two
of which were recognized as "Organization of the Year" by "The Sporting
News" in 1987 (the Greensboro Hornets of the South Atlantic League)
& "Baseball America" in 1998 (the Hudson Valley Renegades).

On three occasions Skip's leadership turned struggling franchises
into profitable organizations and community leaders. Along the way
he developed other organzational leaders who today are impacting
minor league teams and cities across the country.
Weisman Success Resources, Inc. was born in 2000 as Skip decided
to take his leadership, self-motivation and focus strategies to
the business world outside of baseball.
Skip is certified in NLP and Hynotherapy and since 1997 has faithfully
practiced traditional yoga and meditation. These strategies, among
others, have inspired and influenced Skip's approach to business
coaching and consulting.
Today Skip works with business leaders, sales managers and individual
sales professionals to improve individual and organizational results.
.
Although Skip does speak regularly to associations, organizations
and sales teams, he prefers to identify himself as a motivational
coach and not a motivational speaker. Its his belief the impact
of a motivational speaker lasts just a few minutes after the event
is over.
"If you give a man a motivational speech you motivate him
for a day, if you teach a man to motivate himself he is motivated
for a lifetime."
